The Skelligs

Rising dramatically from the Atlantic Ocean off the coast, the Skellig Islands captivate me with their remarkable isolation, rugged forms and timeless character. Skellig Michael, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to an ancient monastic settlement, while Little Skellig provides a sanctuary for thousands of seabirds. My photographs reveal the extraordinary presence of these remote Atlantic outposts, capturing their constantly changing shapes and perspectives as circling the islands.
